A Me Grows in Brooklyn
Oh, hey. Remember us?

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

Oliver eats! Real food! So far he likes/loves everything we’ve given him - peaches, mango, pears, apples, prunes, sweet potato, squash, banana, carrots - with the exception of peas. he does not like peas and from the smell of them, i don’t blame him.

Oliver’s face is all kinds of expressive. Mostly he smiles a gummy grin but sometimes, he gives the stink eye. Likely, i’ve earned it.

Despite a rough few nights (seven to be exact), O finally warmed up to my heartfelt, off-key version of Maor Tsur and began to get the hang of Hanukkah. Just in time for it to end.

O found Christmas to be delicious, chowing down on such delicacies as wrapping paper and tissue paper. He also spent most of our time in NJ dressed only in his skivvies. Jersey shore for life.

He got to hang out with his cousins who doted over him:

Oliver was lucky that despite Milo having to work over the holidays, he took the time to hang with his little cousin, even if he wasn’t able to jump off his call.

When we got home from New Jersey, O came down with his first fever. It was the saddest ever. Look at this face:

He managed to cheer up a bit, just in time for us to join friends for New Year’s Eve drinks. Thanks, O!

Wait, nevermind. Here’s us at the bar. PARENT FAIL. Your baby have a fever? Maybe stay home and skip cocktails out.

After we came home and put the bug to bed, Mark and I drank wine, made homemade pizza and toasted to our many blessings (especially one very fat one) in 2011.We shared resolutions and ate this up.

Happy New Year to you all, a few days late! Love, D, Oliver and his cheeks
