and it used to be a bit more. I’m going to try to be better about sharing.
to start, here are some things i’m into these days (other than O and in no particular order):
- coffee. iced and hot. at home and out. as a pick me up and as a calm me down. as a social activity and as a just me time.
- my friends, who have been so wonderful and so supportive during these crazy last few months. they’ve been flexible and kind, patient and encouraging and they really seem to like my baby.
- sleep. i really really really love and adore being passed out.
- my family. all you people who have visited, shared tips, loved on O and made this whole new parenthood thing easier. A special shout out to: GRANDPARENTS AND LAUREN AND ABRA.
- running. finding the time is a whole new challenge but i’m determined to keep it in my life. it’s free therapy.
- quinoa. delicious and nutritious! oatmeal too.
- mommy playdates. these other williamsburg mommies are my lifeline. we sit in the park, go get coffee and walk and walk. these outings keep my day moving, get baby O out for fresh air and give me much needed adult interaction and the chance to talk about babies nonstop.
